2023/24 Dance Together Workshop

We don’t just come together to dance, but also to eat! Korean food has become increasingly popular in recent years. It’s healthy and not as complicated as it looks. Together with Eun-Me Ahn and the dancing grandmothers, participants in the cooking workshop will prepare a popular Korean snack called kimbap. Kimbap are delicious rice rolls wrapped in seaweed, which are typical of Korean street food.

No previous knowledge is required, just a little time, dexterity and a desire to eat the delicacies together afterwards. Vegetarians and vegans are also catered for.

Duration: ca. 2 h
Languages: English, German
Costs: We would ask for a contribution towards expenses of 10 € in cash to be paid directly on site.

In 2001, she moved back to Korea and continued her choreographic practice by revisiting classics from her country or – often in collaboration with amateurs – exploring social issues such as generations or relations between South and North Korea.
