HELLERAU – European Center for the Arts lives through the encounter with artistic positions and processes from the fields of dance, theater, performance and music. Through formats such as workshops, talks, exchange with other communities and guided tours, HELLERAU is also a place for new encounters and experiences.
In collaboration with choreographers, dancers and interdisciplinary artists, practical and theoretical impulses are conveyed on contemporary topics in the performing arts.
For this purpose, we offer programs for different age and experience groups, in which dancing, learning and trying out new things can take place.
In addition, we are always interested in new collaborations and are happy to support the development of new project ideas. Feel free to contact us if you would like to participate, have questions, or would like to share ideas for new things.
We will be happy to keep you up to date on current workshop and meeting offers via our monthly newsletter.
Workshops for groups and school classes
A visit to the theatre as a compulsory educational project with a fun factor? Much more than that! Artistic experiences and encounters with culture can reveal new views and help to form new thoughts. A look into the world of HELLERAU offers the opportunity to try things out, discover new things, make new friends, in short: lots of fun.
In addition, by touching on the content of various school subjects such as art, performing arts, music, ethics, politics, history and sport, one’s own store of knowledge is expanded.
Children and young people of all ages and school types as well as extracurricular youth groups are welcome to join in!
Within the framework of projects such as Young Stage, artists’ workshops or the youth editorial team Kulturgeflüster, there is an opportunity for everyone to get involved and live out their own creativity.
Workshops with artists from all over the world for young people
By arrangement, we are happy to arrange offers for young people to come into direct contact with artists from all over the world and the artistic staff of the house and to get to know the exciting world of the cultural sector.
Participants can watch rehearsals, take part in workshops and experience performances, including individual introductions.
Please contact us for individual arrangements and information on planned dates.
Kulturgeflüster” brings together young culture-loving people who report on theatre, dance, literature and music in Dresden and the surrounding area.
