As early as 1923 the Bauhaus artist László Moholy-Nagy worked on the still young medium of records for his sound experiments. This evening follows Moholy-Nagy’s curiosity – and celebrates the record. The concert performance “Frozen Records” by Claudia Märzendorfer is at the center, and with it the transience and tenderness of art: records made of ice that only sound for a short time before they dissolve and finally fall silent.
