Composers at breakfast
with ensemble courage & Hanspeter Kyburz
The Dresden ensemble courage presents the renowned composer Hanspeter Kyburz in a concert format – with Sunday morning coffee and moderated discussions – whose music is primarily based on electronic methods and processes and is essentially characterised by chaos theory and fractal geometry.
For Hanspeter Kyburz, who now lives and teaches in Berlin, each new piece marks the beginning of an individual, meticulous and analytical research project. The study of models of systems theory and computer-aided formal processes, as well as the element of planned structure, is very important in his work and is repeatedly influenced by phenomena from other artistic genres such as literature, visual art or film.
