The project MOVING BORDERS deals with the manifestation of “borders” in societies: In the seven European cities of Athens, Mülheim an der Ruhr, Porto, Strasbourg, Utrecht, Warsaw and Dresden, the artistic project THE ARK by the British Quarantine Theatre Company will be adapted on site together with artists and citizens. With hammer, nails and creativity, the participants will create a construction in the city in 2021; a modern ark as a space for encounter and artistic inspiration.

At the Kick-Off Meeting the seven production houses and festivals from seven European cities will present themselves. The internationally renowned performance group Quarantine (GB) will give an introduction to their work and to the project THE ARK, which will be created in 2020/2021 in seven cities with local partners.
