Monika “MONNUSH” Prikkelová is a dancer, choreographer, dance teacher and movement coach. In 2015, she founded the dance agency mondance, which she runs and under which she creates various choreographies, projects and costumes and participates in various events in Slovakia and abroad. She also created the dance show Tron Girls, with which she took part in the final of the Czech-Slovak talent show in 2018 and with which she subsequently toured (e.g. Qatar, Romania, Poland, Germany, Monaco, Saudi Arabia, Italy). She is considered the “mother of the Slovakian ballroom scene”, as she brought voguing to Slovakia ten years ago. She founded the first Czech-Slovak Kiki dance house: Kiki House of Velvet, has organized several balls in Bratislava (the most famous is the Ball of Shame) and is responsible for building the community. She also brought voguing to the Slovak National Theater (choreography in the production “Declaration of Addiction”) and the Slovak National Ballet (“Fashion Balet 23”). Last but not least, Monika founded her own queer-friendly brand, with the most famous collection #pussyisafeeling for all those who are open-minded.
