Rivers connect – as does the Elbe, which flows from the Czech Republic via Dresden and Hamburg into the North Sea. In the current spring project, the children and young people of the Musaik Orchestra learn that the great river is particularly worth protecting by combining environmental education, creative techniques and music education. They take part in a musical master class, create paper, build instruments and design a stage set from giant paper cuttings. After an intensive creative retreat during the winter vacations, all of this comes together in the big final concert.
