With the “home made climate conference” GASTSTUBE° creates a performative forum to bring climate catastrophes within reach. How can we as individuals face this global challenge and outrage ourselves collectively and constructively? How to find the pleasure necessary to face the problems? The climate crisis is the ultimate call for us to reinvent our lives and economies, and for new values. GASTSTUBE° asks whether this can be fun. And develops artistic techniques for home use. Can we radically transform our relationships to things? What would that mean – politically and poetically, down to earth?

GASTSTUBE° is the meeting place of the three artists Beatrice Fleischlin, Andreas Liebmann and Nicolas Galeazzi and their artistic questions. They are driven by the need and desire to invent new forms of pleasure in the context of the climate crisis that are not based on exploitative conditions. GASTSTUBE° wants time and space to performatively explore being together.
