For the current concert the composer and honorary doctor of the HfM Dresden is working on the rehearsal of his piece “Concertini” written for the Ensemble Modern. In memory of Lachenmann’s friend Dieter Schnebel and their mutual “friend” and jubilant Beethoven, works by both composers are heard in contrast.
