Dance-Workshop for all

Thomas Zamolo has worked with Cullberg for 15 years, first as a dancer and then as a rehearsal director. Thomas will offer a workshop connected with the performance “The Listeners” von Alma Söderberg/Cullberg on 28./29.02.

The workshop willl be based on the technique that Alma has worked with during the creation of the piece, where the company has worked with voice, rhythm and movement. Almas artistic research is based on the three expression, and the relationship between them is the foundation of her work. The dance becomes a tool to describe the sound, and the sound a tool to describe the dance.

During the workshop the participants will work with both voice and polyrhythms, layers of rhythm, and connect them to movement.
