The Good Times Are Over / Dobre už bolo

Karol Filo & Co.

2024/25 Nebenan Performance Deutschlandpremiere

A raw yet intimate testimony of the issue of the generational gap…The deeply personal work concentrated on the feeling of the younger generation, which will live in a world and country hitherto defined mainly by the decisions of the grandfather’s generation.” – Lea Valentová for theatrical journal kød

“All You Can Eat” is an audiovisual essay on the question of decision-making for two performers. Humorously, a flood of images unfolds on stage – about the options we choose from, the conditions under which we make decisions, the autonomy of free will we believe in, and the attention we pay to our choices at a time when the decisions of each individual have the potential to shape global reality. “All You Can Eat” is the result of a process of choice, a concatenation of calculations, probabilities and compromises.

Duration: ca. 45 min
