In “Putin Trial,” theater director Andriy May, together with a Ukrainian-German ensemble, examines the influence of a modern totalitarian system on each of us, no matter what our background or where we live. The result is an entertaining evening full of scenes and changes of perspective that expose white spots and shake educated opinions.

У постановці „Putinprozess” театральний режисер Андрій Май разом з українсько-німецьким колективом досліджує вплив сучасної тоталітарної системи на кожного з нас, незалежно від того, звідки ми родом і де живемо. Завдяки цьому з’являється цікавий вечір, наповнений змінами сцен та перспектив, що викриває сліпі плями та змушує взяти під сумнів сформовані погляди.

Violence representation
Andriy May is a theater director, founder of the Vsevolod Meyerhold Center in Kherson and curator of the Document International Theater Festival. As a single father, he received permission to leave Ukraine and found a new home in Cologne. At Theater der Keller, he is working on the theater performance “Putin Trial” with a Ukrainian-German ensemble.
