Open Studio: Reason NOW!

The residency program “Reason NOW!” offers artists from the performing arts with a work focus in Saxony or Poland a cooperative work process. Under the mentoring of the artist Rabih Mroué, the focus is on exploring the topic of reason. In the Open Studio, some of the artists will provide insights into their research.

Rabih Mroué, born in Beirut and currently living in Berlin, is a theatre director, actor, visual artist and playwright. He is a contributing editor for The Drama Review /TDR (New York) and a co-founder of the Beirut Art Center (BAC). He was a fellow at The International Research Center: Interweaving Performance Cultures/ FU/Berlin from 2013 -2014. He has been an associated theatre-director at Münchner Kammerspiele from 2015 -2019.
Rabih Mroué is a mentor for Reason NOW! He shares his own working practice, gives impulses, feedback and initiates exchange for the participating artists
