Rieke Süßkow completed her directing studies at the Theaterakademie Hamburg with an impressive adaptation of classics. Without words and with a strong aesthetic touch, she shows the family as a contested terrain for happiness, power and social position. Medea, the lover, betrayed, child murderer, does not come here from a foreign culture, but is an icon of the western world.
