We take you on a journey through the exciting history and present of HELLERAU – the European Centre of the Arts. You will learn interesting facts about the extraordinary architecture of the Festspielhaus, which was built according to plans of Heinrich Tessenow as a pioneer of modern architecture of the 20th century, as well as about the origin of the house as a rhythm school, which was founded here by Émile Jaques-Dalcroze and much more.
