El Perro Andaluz (DE) featuring Ola Asdahl Rokkones (NOR)

Musik

With works by Erik Stifjell, Bernhard Lang, Steingrímur Rohloff and others, the Ensemble for New Music El Perro Andaluz, founded in Dresden, celebrates its tenth season. Anniversary guests are the Norwegian saxophonist Ola Asdahl Rokkones and the most northern chamber orchestra in the world: the Arktisk Sinfonietta from Tromsø. The best guarantee for music that feels most comfortable between all stools: creaky avant-garde, groovy sounds, rhythmic conciseness and structural complexity, plus live electronics and film installations.

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Dresden ensemble, the ensemble will present both the listeners and themselves with this gift. In addition, a cooperation will be continued that began successfully last year with the Global Ear Arktis programme.
