event photography
How can you create good event photographs? Lighting conditions and sensitive interaction with artists and visitors will be discussed in the first part of the workshop and tried out in practice afterwards. Together, we will visit the Bandstand concert event, at which numerous Dresden bands perform throughout the Festspielhaus Hellerau and you are allowed to take photographs there. On the following day the photos will be discussed together. The best off of the photos will be published on the Kulturgeflüster website.
Workshop leader: Thomas Bachler (winner PORTRAITS – HELLERAU Photography Award 2016) works as a photographer, artist and curator. At the same time he publishes books, gives workshops in the Technical Collections and is Vice Chairman of the Forum for Contemporary Photography Dresden.
