Room of Visionaries – Appia, Dalcroze, von Salzmann

By means of historical material such as letters, drawings and photographs, the exhibition reconstructs the connections of the departure around the educational institution Jaques-Dalcroze in Hellerau at the beginning of the 20th century and also illuminates the festival events of 1912/13.

Ursula Sax: Dance in Space – The Geometric Ballet and Other Performative Projects

The exhibition deals with the artistic work of Ursula Sax, who began in the 1980s to develop geometric forms that, in interaction with the body and its movement, led to “dance sculpture”.
