Slowly and incessantly, Lawrence Abu Hamdan seduces viewers* into the world of his research, into a world of deep interdependencies of sound and sound with complex political contexts. CRAWLERS is a group of social bots that are active on the Internet with fake accounts. They interact with other users*, produce works of art and present them in social networks. They analyze the reactions and behavior of their digital friends. Based on artificial intelligence, each bot continuously optimizes and specializes. CRAWLERS is an online experiment that plays with deception, questioning the freedom, spaces and boundaries of art in the digital age.
