Applications until 19.11.2021
In the past edition, Bandstand has evolved as an annual festival of the Dresden music scene with a gaudy return-of-the-musicvideo online show into a format for innovative and experimental music projects from all over Saxony. In February 2022 Bandstand is planned for the first time as a moderated live show in HELLERAU: Projects selected by a jury will produce music videos in the coming months, which will then be shown and celebrated for the first time in the Great Hall in the Festspielhaus, accompanied by the journalistic up-and-coming project Nextpress, the Musicboard Berlin-based resident artists Minimal Schlager and Oh! Kosmos and other live acts. The Musikfonds e.V. has been won as a partner. Together we are looking for your music video concepts, and with you the experiment, risk, trash, glamour and radical border crossings. In addition to a production cost subsidy of 3,000 euros, selected projects can also be supported with technical assistance by arrangement.
