Open Call: We are looking for young people for our intergenerational dance project!

What is it actually like when your body changes and are the distinctions between old and young as big as the time span in between?

Are you aged between 14 and 21 and want to be part of a creative team?

Under the direction of Jenny Coogan, we invite you to bring a new work to the stage together with 20 dancers from the ArtRose ensemble. It’s about more than just dance: we question the notions of young and old and celebrate an exchange between generations. What is actually in between? Let’s find out and dance together! No previous dance experience necessary – just bring your energy and curiosity!

Introductory Workshops on:
09.12.24; 17:30 – 19:30 in the Palucca Hochschule

16.12.24; 17:30 – 19:30 in the Palucca Hochschule

You don’t have to attend both workshops. We only want to give everyone the opportunity to be there if one of the days does not work.

Rehearsals for the project would take place every Monday from January 6, 2025 (except during the vacations) from 17:00 – 19:00 at the Palucca University and at HELLERAU – European Center for the Arts. The dance project will then celebrate its premiere on 19.06.2025 on the stage in the Great Hall of the Festspielhaus Hellerau.
