The tenth anniversary of the European festival for young directors will be a special one – different than expected – but we will celebrate analog and digital! Under the title FAST FORWARD AT WORK there is a workshop edition that explores what a festival can look like when the corona virus is part of our everyday life. Together with young artists* from all over Europe, we will explore new and different approaches to this situation: with five projects in five venues for the local audience in Dresden and with a website that will open as a digital stage for four more productions and an exciting supporting program. FAST FORWARD AT WORK invites you to experiment, to play with fiction and reality, to explore urban space as well as to experience surprising digital encounters. We will make sure that you experience theater in a safe way, whether in the middle of it or with your finger on the map. We are looking forward to our international guests, to working with our partners in the city and to you joining us on our journey.
