We Are Still Watching
Ivana Müller (HR/FR)
With “We Are Still Watching”, the Croatian performance artist Ivana Müller takes her examination of political processes and the question of representation to extremes. The participatory plot of the play is set in motion by the audience itself and follows the form of a reading rehearsal. For one hour, the visitors spend their time with a text that another person has written for them. They make individual and collective decisions. A process of role formation develops – and, every evening in a new way, the miniature of a society. “We Are Still Watching” was shown worldwide with great success and was represented at the 2015 Venice Biennale.
