The Iranian-born artist has been performing on slam stages throughout Germany since 2011 and enriches the Ring feature with her spoken word texts, poems and stories. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Oriental Studies with a focus on politics. Her texts often deal with social and societal grievances such as sexism, racism and the loss of value of human rights, to which she always makes a personal connection. Her complex rhymes and special melodies develop an intoxicating pull in interaction with handmade music.
