Drones, beats, rap – you can’t do that with a trumpet! Pablo Giw shows us, how that works.

Based on experimental trumpet playing with extended playing techniques, the Cologne musician Pablow Giw works with elements of different genres and combines minimalistic structures with Noise & Neo Soul. With his instrument he creates dense sound walls and hissing beats from air, which sound to his singing and his spoken word lyrics. On a monophonic instrument, polyphony becomes a true sound experience.
