2024/25 Im Dreieck springen Tanz Performance

In the short piece ‘Last Dance’, Czech artist Tereza Ondrová dances alone – and yet in pairs, or with many people. How do you dance with someone who is no longer there? Can you bring a person back through dance? Can their absence bring us back to ourselves? How do we overcome the loss of someone close to us, the loss of an ideal, or a vision for the future?

‘Last Dance’ is an excerpt from Ondrová’s successful play ‘Call Alice’. She returns to him to come to terms with a loss from the pandemic. The platform in front of the Festspielhaus, where many people have already danced together, becomes the setting for a poignant yet liberating ritual.

Duration: ca. 15 Min.

Temporary Collective is a performance-making group. Temporary Collective is dancer Tereza Ondrová and theatre director Petra Tejnorová. We are a duo, bringing together a team of creatives from various disciplines to make performances and encounters with the public. Our artistic process is built through dialogue and in response to what challenges us. Recent topics in our work deal with sustainability, loss and geographical narrative, while also exploring the humorful and heartfelt. We are temporary because we do not hold fixed beliefs, preferring to welcome change and practice reinvention and relations with the unknown.
