Jana Schmück, Mami Kawabata & Eve Gubler
Wo drückt der Schuh?
Bathing slippers, sneakers, rubber boots, soccer shoes, slippers, ballerinas and co. shoes are part of our lives. Sometimes we are “fit as a fiddle” or “topple over with enthusiasm”. In a constantly changing stage landscape of colorful, manifold shoes, the two dancers Jana Schmück and Mami Kawabata discover which stories or movements lie behind them. Imaginative and versatile, they use the shoes as metaphors for the themes of young audiences: Where is the shoe pinching? What gets on their nerves? When do they get cold feet? Shoes turn into an insurmountable obstacle, become a floating mobilé and are always the starting point for new movements. Funny, poetic and sometimes belligerent, the mobile pop-up performance invites children to marvel, reflect and participate.
