Feature Ring

HAND is Sascha Bachmann. The passionate percussionist from Berlin found in the ’80s his father’s old Tesla tape recorder. The foundation stone for his style of music was laid. His music is for active listening and dancing. Created for art space and dance floor. As a drummer he plays for various bands and musicians (among others Sirius Mo, Jan Driver), always looking for his version of music. Inspired by various influences, he designed the concept “Tapeloops, Heartbeats & Super 8” and created his first solo album.

He dedicates himself to sound landscapes that are brought to life with his sampled heartbeat. Wideness, calmness and repetition are stylistic elements that unfold a great dynamic in combination.
