Just as this year’s Feature Ring season will be opened by a legendary musician, so too will it be a summer break. None other than bass clarinettist Gebhard Ullmann from Bad Godesberg, who has recorded more than 50 records and has been a regular critic of the American Downbeat magazine since 2005, climbs onto the podium. With incomparable drive he has been shifting the boundaries between composition, electronics, improvisation and sound art since the seventies. Tonight he will also be in dialogue with Eren Solak, Felix-Otto Jacobi and Demian Kappenstein.
