Feature Ring
Guest: Elisabeth Coudoux (Cello)
After she had been infected with the virus of free improvisation while studying classical music at the Musikhochschule Dresden, she moved to West Germany to find her field of learning and interaction in and around the Cologne Musikhochschule.
When you experience Coudoux in concert, you can be sure that you are playing the cello in a way you have never experienced before. She virtuously explores the sound possibilities in real time, for example by stroking the spine or using a rotating motor on the bridge of the instrument.
She is a guest with the Ensemble Zeitkratzer at “Happy New Ear” in HELLERAU – a welcome opportunity to bring her into the ring as a soloist and to get to know her better.
