Dienstagssalon mit Max Rademann

Mit Johanna Summer und Malakoff Kowalski

Young and multifaceted: jazz musician Johanna Summer is one of the great hopes of German jazz. The pianist from Plauen in the Vogtland region (Young Munich Jazz Award 2018) impresses with classical pieces, original compositions or jazz standards and manages to develop a broad, dynamic narrative in her improvisations.

She shares the stage of the Tuesday Salon with Malakoff Kowalski. He introduces his new album, “Piano Aphorisms.” “Decelerated, intimate, with weight and depth, somewhere in the no man’s land between classical-romantic or even older tradition and the free inspiration of the improviser.” (F.A.Z.)
