Electroclash meets elements of rock full of passion. Kat Koan presents herself as a musical chameleon and tells honest stories, wrapped in intense melodies and rhythms. She expresses blunt, zeitgeisty messages and intense emotions, which she packs into a powerful sound. Her debut album LUSTPRINZIP was mixed by Dean Hurley, best known for his work as David Lynch’s sound supervisor. Her follow-up album COCOON, which was only released on vinyl, was voted one of the top 10 albums of 2022 by various indie music blogs. Together with her band, she goes full throttle on a musical and visual level and offers a tantalizing combination of power, sensuality and a good dose of attitude.

Kat Koan writes lyrics, melodies and creates visuals, as it offers an escape from real life. She only discovered a few years ago that making music is a brilliant way of getting things out of her system. She describes her band – the Lost Souls – as raw, real, and non-airbrushed.
