Talking with politicians

The Dachverband Tanz Deutschland (DTD) and the TanzNetzDresden (TNDD) are organising a symposium within the #TakeNote project WORKING COMMUNITIES entitled “Talking to Politicians”. – Kick-off to a ROUND TABLE on the topic of network structures in the independent performing arts. Embedded in the Dancing About Festival of TANZPAKT Dresden, various networks in the field of dance & performing arts at local, national and international level will be given the opportunity to exchange ideas and network effectively. This also includes strengthening their own effectiveness on a political level and entering into dialogue with cultural politicians. A keynote speech by Simone Barrientos, member of the German Bundestag and cultural policy spokesperson for the Left Party, as well as contributions and discussions from culture, administration and politics in Dresden are planned. Dr. Elisabeth Nehring will be the moderator.

WORKING COMMUNITIES – that is supra-regional exchange and networking of actors from the field of dance & performing arts. WORKING COMMUNITIES is also the title of the TanzNetzDresden anniversary, which will be celebrated in a big way in the second part of the event series from 11 to 13 November in the form of an anniversary party and a workshop weekend.
