What are the effects of privatization on public space? What does social life in the neighborhood look like without public facilities? What are the possibilities of access to public space? During her residency, Nora Spiekermann is working on a performance lecture in which she questions the power structure in the new construction neighborhood “Europacity” in downtown Berlin. Since 2020, she has been collaborating with various artists in the project “Offener Kanal Europa” and developing temporary, site-specific works in the Europacity.
