Eröffnung Ostflügel & Spielzeitfest zum Tag des offenen Denkmals

The time has finally come: with the opening of the Kleiner Saal (Small Hall), the East Wing of HELLERAU is ready for performances. We invite artists and our audience to celebrate this important milestone with us. Short pieces, concerts, workshops, discussions and guided tours will alternate throughout the day, conveying a new HELLERAU feeling. The Kleiner Saal appears quite large! There will be performances by Sebastian Weber, go plastic/Cindy Hammer, Anna Till, Miller de Nobili, Fang Yun Lo, In:Presence Dance, AuditivVokal Dresden, Ring Trio, Max Rademann, Trouble Notes and many others. Many of the artists will also present their pieces at HELLERAU later in the season. In addition, there are the informative guided tours of the Werkbund in the Festspielhaus and the popular guided tour ‘The Garden City under National Socialism’ by Claudia Dietze and Robert Badura.
