Floor on Fire

Breakdance competes against ballet, street style against contemporary, and hip-hop measures up against pointe dance. The innovative dance format of the Saxonz in HELLERAU is finally back!

“Floor on Fire” lives from the individuality of the dancers, their virtuosity and their unlimited creativity. What at first looks like a competition of individual dance styles against each other, turns into mixed dance teams that spontaneously present their joint skills on the dance floor. In the end, a jury with audience participation decides on the best team – an experience for dancers and audience alike!
