Armada of Arts | Best of PPNews
The mobile news programme PP-News makes everyday racism and normalised discrimination, blind spots in society and populist tendencies visible through local news, reports, features and interviews. Dolls play a central role in this – packed into short stories, they report on daily political topics.
They have already led the way in the form of walks through Dresden’s public space, discovering, conquering and asserting it in times of inhuman opinion making.
“Best of PPNews” is now showing for the first time collected short films and puppet reports from the three programmes “Rituals”, “Faces” and “Rumours”, which took place in 2018/2019 in Dresden HELLERAU, Gorbitz and in Dresden’s Old Town.
