Feature Ring is an exciting first encounter. The artists meet the day before the concert, research, jam and work out the repertoire: spontaneous, raw and risk-taking! The violinist with Italian roots effortlessly oscillates between a classically brilliant style of playing and a wonderfully robust use of her instrument. She composes and plays her own songs, sometimes sung and sometimes purely instrumental. Trained in classical violin and jazz, she places her own search for truth and expression in music above conventions and rules.
