Floor on Fire

Breakdance competes against ballet, street style against contemporary, and hip-hop measures itself against pointe work. The successful dance format from The Saxonz and HELLERAU is back on the program in April. 

“Floor on Fire” thrives on the individuality of the dancers, their virtuosity, and their boundless creativity. What initially looks like a competition between individual dance styles transforms into mixed dance teams that spontaneously showcase their collective skills on the dance floor. In the end, a jury with audience participation decides on the best team – an experience for dancers and audience alike!
