Head of Audience Development, Cultural Education, Networks (m/f/d)
Standard stage contract (SR Solo), full-time
These tasks await you
- Conceptual development and implementation of art education formats in the context of the program and audience development, in collaboration with the communications team and the program department
- Independent development and management of projects in the field of cultural education in collaboration with the program department
- Planning, organizing, and conducting workshops, special tours, play introductions, follow-up discussions, and similar formats
- Conception and development of inclusive offerings for different audience groups in a diverse urban society, as well as for existing and new culture enthusiasts
- Active networking with regional and supraregional providers of formal and non-formal education (schools, universities, cultural and educational institutions, social institutions, civil society actors, etc.)
- Participation in fundraising by researching specific third-party funding opportunities and drafting third-party funding applications for mediation projects
- Writing and editing texts
- Support and guidance for volunteers
What you should bring with you
- You are a versatile and experienced communications professional. Your passion is promoting culture, creating and developing networks with cultural institutions, and attracting audiences.
- You have a university degree or completed vocational training related to the field of work and can draw on ready-to-apply specialist knowledge and practical professional experience in the area of audience development/cultural education in a cultural institution, ideally in a theater.
- You are enthusiastic about contemporary arts and are familiar with the special requirements of theater operations and the production methods of independent ensembles.
- You have strong organizational and communication skills and are experienced in moderating discursive events.
- Their working style is characterized by independence, confidence, reliability, and initiative; it is based on teamwork and working in networked structures.
- To work in an international environment, you must have very good English skills (other foreign languages are desirable) and intercultural competence.
- You are available to work during normal theater hours (including evenings, Sundays, and public holidays) and to take up residence in Dresden.
