The British composer, DJ and producer Max Cooper is not only one of the most sophisticated and creative electronic artists of his generation, but also an acclaimed pioneer at the intersection of electronic music and science. He continually develops innovative technical and artistic concepts in immersive performances and installations. Following concerts at the Royal Albert Hall in London, in Tokyo, Los Angeles and Barcelona, he is now bringing his latest show to Dresden for the first time.

Max Cooper is a composer of electronic music, a multidisciplinary artist, the founder of a music label and a trained scientist who has carved out a unique place for himself in the worlds of music and the visual arts. He holds a PhD in computational biology and was also the first contemporary electronic musician to perform at the ancient Acropolis Theatre in Athens, as well as one of the first musicians to produce music in Dolby Atmos. As an artist often cited as synonymous with the transformation of club culture, Cooper honed his craft as a DJ through a ten-year residency at the legendary techno event ‘Firefly’ in the Midlands, where he forged a close relationship with the Architecture Social Club, with whom he continues to develop his extravagant immersive installations to this day.
