Grooves & Moves
This workshop is all about how groove feels in the body (namely great!) and how this becomes effective in dance. Simple combinations of steps, stomping, clapping and voice create powerful rhythms in movement. The grooves remain tangible, regardless of whether they can be heard or not, and create a lively connection between everyone in the room. You learn a lot about the principles of tap dance along the way and will dance sequences that you can see on stage during the piece “Glitz” (10. & 11.10.).
No previous dance experience is required. Clean, sturdy shoes are good because they give the tap syncopations more power. But being barefoot is also possible!
*We will send you a confirmation of registration for the workshop one week before the start of the event. So don't worry if you don't receive a confirmation straight away. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee participation if you register at short notice, but we would still be delighted if you simply came along and gave it a try. As a rule, we close the sign-up form once the workshop is full.
