Nebenan

In the "Nebenan" festival series, HELLERAU regularly shows contemporary art from regions where artists work under difficult political conditions. Following Nebenan/Побач (Belarus, 2022), Nebenan/Поруч (Ukraine, 2023) and Nebenan/Melletünk (Hungary, 2024), HELLERAU most recently focussed on the independent performing arts scene in Slovakia (2025).
