Bandstand 2027: We’re looking for your music!

Attention, Saxon acts: On 6 March 2027, BPM Sachsen and HELLERAU will once again be celebrating Saxony’s diverse pop culture at Bandstand. And we’re looking for you!

Whether it’s electronic, hip hop, soul, indie, rock, crossover or jazz: bands and solo artists from all genres of popular music are invited to apply.

Fancy a spot on the Bandstand?

Then you should meet the following criteria:

• You live in Saxony.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You write your own songs and can play a set lasting at least 45 minutes.
• You’re available to play at the Bandstand in HELLERAU on Saturday 6 March 2027.
• You haven’t played with your band at any previous Bandstand events.

Sound good? Then we look forward to receiving your application by 17 September 2026 via the application form.

A panel of judges will make the final selection of acts. You will receive a fee for your performance. Unfortunately, we are unable to organise or cover travel and accommodation costs.
