Voluntary Year in Press and Public Relations

You will work in press and public relations and get to know all the tasks of communication for a theater of contemporary live arts. 

These include:

• Writing texts for social media and the press
• Graphic and web design for notices and flyers
• Use of editing programs
• Participation in the management of the social media channels Instagram and Facebook
• Daily press review and creation of press reviews
• Maintenance of online event calendars
• Support with updating the homepage
• Distribution of advertising and information materials
• Regular supervision of ticket sales at the TU Dresden
• Implementing your own ideas in consultation with colleagues

Your work is very varied. You will learn teamwork skills, project planning and realisation, time management, how to approach people and how to speak English regularly. You will get to know the departments of a theater and its work processes and develop your own independent project.

• Duration in months: 12
• Hours per week: 30 - 35 hours
