The universally beloved and always exciting Tuesday Salon is taking a trip from Hellerau to the Societaetstheater. And for the premiere here, we’ve invited the magnificent Brezel Göring, whom most people probably know as one half of the legendary punk-pop band Stereo Total. Together with singer Françoise Cactus, who passed away too soon in 2021, he enriched the world of pop with songs like “Liebe zu dritt,” “Schön von hinten,” “Küsse aus der Hölle der Musik,” and “Ich bin der Stricherjunge.” Brezel is also a music producer, radio play composer, and author. And above all, he continues to make fantastic music. Host Max Rademann should be familiar to many by now thanks to his long-standing collaboration with animation artist Jens Rosemann, as part of the Dresden poetry collective “Sax Royal,” or as a quiet caricaturist at the occasional event. This proud native of the Ore Mountains regularly invites both well-known and lesser-known musicians to the Tuesday Salon to present them to an enthusiastic audience through music and casual conversation in a relaxed atmosphere.

Brezel Göring – the grand dame of Berlin chanson, or rather Chanson Kaputt, Kreuzberg’s sparkling punk princess, who, with her glamor and anarchic humor, bounces off every musical expectation like a pinball – switches playfully and masterfully between countless genres and hurtles unchecked from one attraction to the next!
