Daniel Weltlinger, born in Sydney in 1977, is a violinist, composer and producer with French-Austrian-Hungarian-Israeli roots. Internationally renowned for his warm sound, he moves between gypsy swing, jazz, klezmer and free improvisation. He has played with renowned artists such as Lulo Reinhardt, Karsten Troyke and Monsieur Camembert and has performed all over the world, including in Europe, Australia, China and the USA. As head of the Rectify Records label, he has produced several award-winning albums, including "Koblenz". In addition to his own projects, he is involved in collectives such as Radio Django and The Huns. He can be heard on the soundtrack of the series "Babylon Berlin", among others.
