Feature Ring with Marcel Beyer

The titles of his books are like little stories in themselves: “Walkmännin,” “Brauwolke,” “Rede an die Sprache.” Marcel Beyer is a poet, novelist, lecturer in poetry at the University of Wuppertal, and a researcher of language. He writes about history, memory, and sound—and in doing so, he cultivates intense interaction with a wide variety of people. Exploration, experimentation, and new forms of storytelling are what keep bringing him back to the stage. At Feature Ring, he will meet the Ring Trio—and we are excited to see what melodies his words will find that evening.
