Growing up in Berlin, Lie Ning discovered dance, fashion, art - and above all music - at an early age. The voice became the central expression. International appearances, such as at SXSW and the Reeperbahn Festival, as well as supporting Raphael Saadiq and Milky Chance, cemented the style between indie, soul and R'n'B. The debut album "utopia" (2023) received widespread critical acclaim. With the EP "sweatshop" (2024), LIE NING became the first German musician to become a Spotify GLOW Spotlight Artist and appeared on the global GLOW cover - even in Times Square.
