The award-winning book "Uncovering the Year 1990" by Leipzig-based publisher Spector Books is a powerful attempt to portray the formative year 1990 - the changes in East Germany, but also around the world. Texts, images and graphic design combine to create a total work of art that caused a sensation when it was published in 2019. Jan Wenzel, editor of the book, is presenting a scenic version of this book for the first time together with several colleagues. Images are juxtaposed with spoken texts, with readers and the audience immersing themselves in a year full of upheavals. The reading will be presented together with the vernissage of the exhibition "ZOOM 90-06". The audience can switch between the two events at any time during the reading.
